Explorers’ Corner 3nd Annual Photo Contest Rules, Terms and Conditions
Submissions: Submissions made to Explorers’ Corner should be no larger than 3MB in a web-ready digital format. Non-digital formats are not accepted. Photographs for consideration will be chosen by Explorers’ Corner staff. Explorers’ Corner reserves the right to use all submitted images for future marketing and web-based projects, with due credit being given to the submitting photographer. Photographers retain copyright, but by submitting photos allow EC to use images for use in marketing print or web. Winners may also be asked to provide images in high resolution formats
Procedure: The top images selected will be chosen by Explorers' Corner Staff. Explorers' Corner staff will make the final selections for winners and decisions are final. Photographers may submit up to 3 images. Images can be submitted via email at http://www.explorerscorner.com/photo-contest-2009/submit.html
Prizes: Deadline to submit images is January 15th, 2010. Winners will be notified via email and announced on the Explorers’ Corner Photo Contest web page on February 1st, 2010.
- Grand Prize – Winner will receive one free Galapagos Island Explorers’ Corner Trip (value $3,190). Trip cost does not include airfare. Winner must also pay any applicable taxes. Winner will be contacted by Explorers’ Corner. Prize is not redeemable for any other substituted prize. Grand Prize is determined by submitted image with the highest percentage and total number of positive votes.
- Second Prize – Winner will receive a Canon Powershot S5 IS digital camera (value $400) and will be notified via email by Explorers’ Corner. 2nd Prize is determined by second highest percentage and total numberof positive votes.
- Third Prize – Winner will receive a World Atlas (value $70) and will be notified via email by Explorers’ Corner. 3rdPrize is determined by third highest percentage and total numberof positive votes.
