There is no better way to experience the Galapagos than from the intimate vantage point of a kayak. Paddle close to beaches teeming with sea lions and iguanas, in waters clear enough to see turtles swimming below. Our catamaran is tucked into a hidden bay nearby – no big tour boats for us.

Paddling at latitude 72º North, along the western edge of Eclipse Sound, lie some of Arctic Canada's most spectacular landscapes, a region rich with migrating narwhal, local hunting Inuit and with luck, we may see the endangered Bowhead whale.
