The most well known traverse through the Alps for more than a century, this route winds across fertile valleys, over rocky slopes and through tiny mountain hamlets. All along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and glimpses of towering mountains such as the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. As you pass through forests of larch and across alpine meadows, you might spot a golden eagle or an ibex or some other wild mountain creature.
