Our dream is to create a community of travelers and explorers that endeavor, with us, to make travel ideas and dreams come true only limited by the world and our imaginations. And to have fun doing it! It is our strong belief that the dream of Explorers’ Corner is as much about our offering unique destinations as it is about sharing our co-travelers’ dreams of adventure and travel and making them a reality.

Our philosophy is very simple—to fulfill your dreams of great adventures to unique destinations, accompanied by the best guides around. To create travel to off-the-beaten track destinations that are steeped in natural beauty, history and culture. We believe in providing excellent, one-to-one customer service from the first time we talk to you about a trip until you return home. And lastly, but just as importantly, we strive to have little impact on the places we go and we believe in choosing modes of traveling that preserve the nature and cultures of the places we experience.

Explorers Corner is made up of a small group of passionate travelers and professionals that share the vision of this unique “old world service” travel company—Olaf Malver, Lou Gibbs, Paul Schicke and Karla Leibowitz. Each of us brings something valuable to make true the mission and dream of Explorers’ Corner. We all share a deep passion for travel, a respect for the environment and old cultures, and a desire to build a community of co-travelers sharing our vision of experiencing the world together. We also insist that we all have fun!
